About laboratory

Lipids are involved in a variety of biological phenomena. In our laboratory, we are analyzing the effects of changes in lipid homeostasis on cellular responses and their mechanisms.

 

Recent studies have revealed that changes in cellular lipid homeostasis alter the functions of the nervous and immune cells, and the disruption of these functions is deeply involved in the pathology of various human diseases. We hope to contribute to the understanding of the pathology of neurological and inflammatory diseases, as well as the development of preventive and therapeutic strategies by elucidating the mechanisms of lipid action on the our health and diseases.
